Binance Kazakhstan and Biometric.Vision Sign a Partnership Agreement
In February of this year, at the Digital Almaty forum, Binance Kazakhstan announced a strategic partnership with Biometric.Vision, a local leader in artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in financial technology for Kazakhstan and sets a pioneering precedent for Central Asia. For the first time, a major financial institution has adopted technology from a local startup rather than an international entity.
The partnership was formalized by Alibek Narimbay, the founder and CEO of Biometric.Vision, and Zhaslan Madiyev, the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the time, Madiyev also served as the General Manager of Binance Kazakhstan.
Alibek Narimbay emphasized the transformative impact of this collaboration on local startups in the artificial intelligence sector. He noted that Binance’s rigorous year-long testing process validated Biometric.Vision’s ability to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions on a global scale.
«Our partnership represents a paradigm shift in regional technology development,” Narimbay stated. “Historically, major financial institutions favored solutions from foreign developers. Now, we are witnessing a growing preference for local offerings, signaling the rising significance and maturity of Central Asia’s IT products on the global stage.»
The benefits for Binance Kazakhstan users are clear: fast, user-friendly, and secure platform access without the need for physical documentation. This partnership not only enhances user convenience but also highlights confidence in Kazakhstan’s technology firms, paving the way for further advancements and breakthroughs in financial technology.
