Kazakh documents

We read Kazakh documents in the original

OCR extracts the visual zone and cross-checks it against the MRZ. The models are trained on Cyrillic — Kazakh and Russian fields come through without transliteration.

ID card

The main domestic document of a Kazakh citizen. We read the visual zone and MRZ; fields are in Kazakh and Russian, IIN included.

Passport

The biometric passport and earlier series: MRZ, validity, holder photo for face match.

Driving licence

For flows where a passport is optional: rentals, sharing, delivery, driver checks.

A residence permit or a neighbouring country's passport in the frame changes nothing. The document is detected automatically; its type and country come back in the API response.

Biometric identification

We are a vendor of the Centralized Identification System of the National Bank of Kazakhstan: our algorithms already run inside the perimeter the country's banks use to identify customers remotely.

AML/CFT

Law No. 191-IV of 28.08.2009

Identifying the customer and screening them against lists are baseline duties of a financial monitoring entity. AML screening — sanctions, PEPs, wanted lists — runs in the same request as the document check.

Personal data

Law "On Personal Data and its Protection"

Data handling follows Kazakh Law No. 94-V and the GDPR: we collect only what the check needs; retention period and storage location are configured to your policy, including storage inside Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan is a member of the EAG, the FATF-style regional body, so local compliance reads by international standards. The final compliance call belongs to your compliance officer; we provide the tooling and the evidence for it.
